Six customized all-new ’15 Honda Fits will be on display in the Honda booth at the 2014 SEMA Show, where the fan favorite will be announced, November 4.

Over the last five weeks, Honda has followed the progress of six build teams as they each customize the all-new ’15 Fit through a project vehicle program and interactive Tumblr experience (#ProjectFit). A little more than one week remains for fans to vote for the winner of the project (through October 22), with the favorite vehicle to be announced November 4 at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where all six vehicles will be on display in the Honda booth.

The six build teams, Bisimoto Engineering, Kontrabrands, MAD Industries, Spoon Sports USA, Tjin Edition and the award-winning Kenny Vinces, have each personalized their Fits with such modifications as aerodynamic body kits, wheels, suspension and audio-system upgrades, custom paint jobs and more. Photos, video and animated GIFs of the transformations in progress have been posted throughout the campaign at hondaloves.tumblr.com, where fans can like or reblog posts to cast their votes. This effort continues to be promoted on automobiles.honda.com, in Honda newsletters and on social media.

After viewing all of the vehicle displays at the 2014 SEMA Show, attendees with media credentials are also invited to celebrate at the second annual “Honda Soirée,” November 4, from 10:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m. at the Tao Nightclub inside The Venetian hotel complex.

Formula DRIFT Round 7: Daigo Saito Wins Finale and Chris Forsberg is Crowned Champion

Formula DRIFT returned to Irwindale Speedway for the 2014 Pro Championship season finale, where Daigo Saito in the Achilles Radial Lexus SC430 took the event victory. Chris Forsberg in the Hankook Tire Nissan 370Z won his second career championship. Round 7: Final Fight featured the Pro Championship, PRO 2 Championship, Offset Kings car show and more.

Entering the event, Forsberg led the Pro Championship chase by 26 points. As the competition progressed through the night both Fredric Aasbo and Forsberg would meet in the Top 4 to control their championship destiny. Aasbo in one of the tightest battles of the evening got the better of Forsberg for the fourth time this season in head-to-head battles, yet he needed to win the entire event to win the championship.

The No. 1 qualifier, Forrest Wang in the Get Nuts Lab/Hankook/STR Racing Nissan S14 went against Daigo Saito in the Top 4. In a close battle, Saito edged out Wang to make it into the Finals against Aasbo. In another closely fought battle, Saito beat out Aasbo, to win his third consecutive victory at Irwindale Speedway, having won the event in 2012 and 2013, and helping to award Forsberg with his second Pro Championship.
