Education Days will once again be held at the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, where 12 hot-rod product manufacturers will give hour-long presentations on not only their product lines, but also tips and tricks for building project vehicles.

“These seminars are a great opportunity for Street Rod Nationals participants and spectators to learn product and installation techniques directly from the manufacturers,” said Rick Love of Vintage Air, who will present on “The Basics of Air Conditioning.”

The sessions will take place Thursday–Friday, August 3–4, with sessions beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 4:15 p.m. Some sessions will be set up classroom-style and feature panel discussions, while others will be presentation style. These valuable sessions are open to all NSRA Nationals attendees. This is a popular event and seats are limited.

Reserve a spot in the sessions of your choice.

Here is a first look at the ’18 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited Softtop.

The new Wrangler will resemble the outgoing one, but various aerodynamic tweaks will make it less upright. A fixed windshield and possibly longer front end will be the main giveaways.

Mechanical details are expected to include significant amounts of aluminum in the name of weight reduction, although the body will be mostly made of steel. A new 2.0L turbo four, dubbed “Hurricane,” is slated for the Wrangler as a more fuel-efficient option. The Pentastar V6 and eight-speed automatic will be the mainstream powertrain, although the big news will be a 3.0L V6 turbodiesel for North America and likely global markets. A hybrid powertrain is also rumored, and a six-speed manual is confirmed to be available.

Jeep officials have insisted the Wrangler's off-road abilities will only be improved, despite the changes for economy.

Expect to see the new Wrangler debut at the 2017 LA Auto Show.
