Nearly 2,000 Companies Pick Their Spots on the SEMA Show Floor

The 2013 SEMA Show is expected to attract more than 60,000 buyers from throughout the world.
The 2013 SEMA Show is expected to attract more than 60,000 buyers from throughout the world.

Nearly 2,000 companies participated in the 2013 SEMA Show priority booth selection process that was conducted in May. The number represents a 6% increase over the number of companies that participated in the process in 2012.

“With the increased commitment exhibitors are demonstrating, it’s apparent that the SEMA Show provides unmatched brand-building visibility and sales exposure in one venue,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events.

In addition to the increased participation in booth-space selection and exhibitor commitment, SEMA Show management announced that 93% of the buyers that attended the 2012 SEMA Show reported that the Show was worth the time and cost to attend and were pleased with the quality and variety of the exhibitors on display.

The 2013 Show is expected to attract more than 60,000 buyers from throughout the world. Exhibitors annually capitalize on the high exhibitor draw through the SEMA Show’s programs and features, such as the New Products Showcase, product demonstrations and the sectionalized floorplan. These services are the keys to connecting with the most relevant buyers.

Companies interested in exhibiting at the 2013 SEMA Show—which will be held Tuesday through Friday, November 5–8, in Las Vegas—are encouraged to secure booth space by using the “Buy A Booth” link available on the homepage of
www.SEMAShow.com. For additional information on the Show, contact Show management at salesmgr@convexx.com, or call 702-450-7662 x120.

 SEMA Council Elections
The Select Committee Members of SEMA's councils and network groups—seen here are the 2012 SEMA Installation Banquet—are volunteers that work with the membership to develop the strategic direction for the council and the market they represent.

By SEMA Editors

The elections for SEMA's councils and member networks are currently in full swing, and voting will close at 5:00 p.m. (PDT) on Friday, June 7. For more information or questions regarding the SEMA Council Elections, contact Arlene Wood at arlenew@sema.org.

Each council and network available to members through SEMA are governed by an elected volunteer body of SEMA members known as a Select Committee. Each council's Select Committee works together with the council or network membership at large to develop programs, services and benefits that support the vision and overall direction of the group. The Select Committee also works with the Association's leadership and Board of Directors to provide strategic direction for the market that they represent, as well as updates and insights on the segment and the businesses within.

Select Committee members serve two-year terms (three terms maximum) and act as individuals, not as company representatives. These volunteers are entrusted to direct association resources in such a manner that reflects the membership and addresses the current and future issues that will impact specialty-equipment companies.

Members eligible to vote should have received an e-mail from announcement@associationvoting.com with the details needed to vote. To cast a vote, members should visit www.associationvoting.com/sema and enter the following log-in information when prompted:
