The LVH, located 0.3 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center, is offering nightly rates starting at $99 for the SEMA Show.

Distance from the Las Vegas Convention Center, location and price are each primary factors Showgoers consider when determining where they will stay during SEMA Show week (November 4–7, 2014). Finding the right hotel property can be a challenge, one that varies from company to company and is based on meeting an exhibitor's needs during the Show. To help exhibitors find the right hotel accommodations for the week, SEMA partners with Travel Planners to provide valuable options for a range of hotel properties, whether the company is searching based on location, price, hotel services or a combination of the three.

As the official partner, Travel Planners negotiates the lowest prices for the best locations and properties in Las Vegas. All hotel agreements are backed by lowest-rate assurance, which means that the hotel rates are guaranteed, regardless of when the reservation was made.

There are no service fees for companies making reservations through SEMA Show Housing Services, powered by the Travel Planners. Exhibitors will also benefit from immediate confirmations on all reservations; the ability to update reservations without fees or penalties; and descriptions, photos and maps to quickly locate the ideal hotel.

There are currently 11 hotels available to 2014 SEMA Showgoers that are located within 1 mile of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Check out the locations, rates and availability by using the Travel and Lodging page on www.SEMAShow.com.

He was bumped back in the competition and, with not enough time to make up ground, Deegan would finish eighth. On Saturday night in Pro 2, Deegan finished in second. With two pole positions and a first- and second-place finish in Rounds 3 and 4 of Pro 2, respectively, Deegan extended his points lead over Carl Renezeder and Rob MacCachren.

In Saturday’s Pro Lite event, Deegan took an early lead and stayed in front of the competition up until the final lap when Bradley Morris made a challenge for first. The two battled back and forth until a restart on the last lap put Deegan and Morris side by side. Deegan made a move out of turn two to capture the lead and held it all the way until the checkered flag. Deegan will soon wheel his Rockstar Ford Fiesta at the Global Rallycross Series, which debuts in Barbados, May 18, on NBC Sports.

Holding promotions or contests can be an effective way to increase brand awareness. For many SEMA Show exhibitors, the prize package may include a trip or admission to the SEMA Show. The first step to a successful SEMA Show contest is to register your promotion and follow the approved guidelines. Basic guidelines include:
  • The promotion must clearly state that the SEMA Show is a trade-only event and is not open to the general public.
  • Exhibitors are not permitted to order "exhibitor" badges for any non-employees, including winners of the contests.
  • Special instructions will be provided about how exhibitors can purchase badges for their contest winners.
  • All winners who receive badges must be at least 16 years old.
  • There is a limit of five badges for non-trade winners. There is no limit to the number of winners from the trade.
Exhibitors can register their contests and get additional information online, or contact their account rep at 909-396-0289, sales@sema.org.
