Going on sale late this summer, the new Explorer features more smart technology, first-time availability of the 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine and a new, high-end Platinum package. This new EcoBoost delivers more horsepower and torque than its predecessor, and for the first time can be paired with an available tow package and intelligent four-wheel drive with Terrain Management System.
