TORA
TORA-member manufacturers exhibiting at the 2017 SEMA Show can maximize product exposure to some of the top media outlets in the light-truck segment at the Media Preview Exclusive.

Truck and Off-Road Alliance (TORA) manufacturing members exhibiting at the 2017 SEMA Show have the exclusive opportunity to meet face-to-face with editors, reporters and influencers, one day before the SEMA Show officially opens.

Applications are open to exhibit at the Media Preview Exclusive, presented by the TORA. During this event, exhibitors will maximize exposure to their hottest and latest products while creating new relationships with media, all without sacrificing valuable time on the Show floor with buyers.

Exhibitors can also enter their new products to win an award that will be presented during the event. The “TORA Best New Product Under $500” and “TORA Best New Product Over $500” will be selected from the 2017 Media Preview Exclusive exhibitors who enter their new product(s) during the application period.

The Media Preview Exclusive will be held Monday, October 30, prior to the opening of the 2017 SEMA Show in the Media Center located in the Skybridge of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).

Here is a first look at the ’18 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited Softtop.

The new Wrangler will resemble the outgoing one, but various aerodynamic tweaks will make it less upright. A fixed windshield and possibly longer front end will be the main giveaways.

Mechanical details are expected to include significant amounts of aluminum in the name of weight reduction, although the body will be mostly made of steel. A new 2.0L turbo four, dubbed “Hurricane,” is slated for the Wrangler as a more fuel-efficient option. The Pentastar V6 and eight-speed automatic will be the mainstream powertrain, although the big news will be a 3.0L V6 turbodiesel for North America and likely global markets. A hybrid powertrain is also rumored, and a six-speed manual is confirmed to be available.

Jeep officials have insisted the Wrangler's off-road abilities will only be improved, despite the changes for economy.

Expect to see the new Wrangler debut at the 2017 LA Auto Show.
