The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) is asking for donations for those who have been impacted by the wildfires spreading across Northern California. The foundation works with people in the industry to alleviate financial stress associated with significant loss or tragedy.
Tax-deductible donations to AACF can be made online, by mail at P.O. Box 864520, Orlando, FL, 32886, or by calling 772-286-5500.
Those in need are asked to complete the new, simple application on the AACF website.
One SEMA member, DP Brands/Flowmaster, has reported that several employees were affected by the fires. They have raised more than $22,000 via their GoFundMe page.
Organizations that have already contributed generously to AACF include SEMA, Auto Care Association, MEMA, XL Parts, National Pronto/Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group), CAWA, Mighty Auto Parts, Custom Automotive Network (formerly PWA), Engine Performance Warehouse, The Shop, Standard Motor Products, Race Winning Brands (RWB), Gold Eagle, NAPA, Donald Schlenger, Robert & Lillian Spar Family Trust and more.
