Responsibilities include communicating with customers and store personnel by phone and email, limited communication with vendor manufacturers, and working with others in the sales and marketing team to execute sales goals. Qualified applicants will have sales experience (preferably in some facet of automotive) good computer skills and superior interpersonal skills.

Automotive Service Equipment – Independent Territory Sales & Service Representative: Pro-Cut International has an immediate opening for an independent sales and service representative. This position entails selling and servicing the Pro-Cut line to dealerships, national automotive chains and independent shops. The ideal candidate will have a professional sales background, basic mechanical or automotive experience and the ability to travel extensively.

Restoration Mechanic: Redline is hiring a restoration mechanic responsible for timely repair and maintenance of vehicles. Responsibilities include 99% accurate diagnosis, flushing all fluids, removing and replacing engine components, transmissions, differentials and transfer cases, steering and suspension systems, brake systems, electrical systems and heating and air conditioning. Real shop experience, your own tools and cart, and a good attitude are all required.

Customer Loyalty Representative: ModBargains.com Inc. is hiring a customer loyalty representative responsible for processing orders and resolving customer service inquiries, while maintaining the highest degree of service support to customers. The ideal candidate will be able to type more than 60 words per minute and be computer proficient to access information and process orders. Proven experience in a receptionist and/or administrative role is preferred.

Mechanic/Fabricator: Cinema Vehicle Services LLC is hiring a mechanic/fabricator with great mechanical skills and a history of automotive experience. Duties include but are not limited to performing custom fabrication utilizing the latest in machinery and technology; MIG, TIG and ARC welding; tube bending and custom tubular frame fabrication; custom suspension fabrication and installation. A comfort level with various types of material (steel, aluminum, plastic, fiberglass) and full restoration experience are pluses. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record and be able to drive stick shift as well as automatic.

Manufacturers of air intakes, superchargers, exhaust systems and diesel auto parts can now test for emissions compliance at the SEMA Garage following a recent renovation that included the addition of particulate matter (PM) measuring equipment. The remodel allows for more SEMA members to simultaneously test-fit prototypes, install components and perform emissions tests.

Diesel emissions testing is particularly useful for manufacturers that create products that affect engine performance, air flow or fuel delivery, because the parts must comply with emissions standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

“The addition of particulate matter measuring equipment allows us to offer testing services to SEMA-member companies that develop parts for diesel-powered vehicles,” said SEMA Compliance Center Manager Peter Treydte. “Diesel parts manufacturers can now utilize the SEMA Garage to guide them through the entire compliance process, from application to testing, and obtain CARB Executive Orders (E.O.s) as easily and affordable as possible.”

The renovation also included enhancements to the installation center and emissions lab, resulting in more space to better serve SEMA-member companies that depend on these services.

“By doubling the size of the installation center, we can now accommodate two vehicle lifts and larger measuring sessions,” said Treydte. “Also, increasing the emissions lab’s soak space, which is used for pre- and post- testing, allows us to accommodate more vehicles, including larger diesel vehicles.”

In addition to the emissions lab and installation center, the SEMA Garage offers member companies several other services and programs to help bring their products to market, including measuring sessions, custom scanning and 3D printing, a training center, and a CAD tech transfer program.
