Mastrian will describe and field questions on the process for taking a product to market and discuss the evolution of LumiLor, Darkside Scientific Inc.’s award-winning electroluminescent coating system. Participants will learn about the development of the product and challenges presented in the marketplace.
Topics will include assessing the market, delivering a product-market fit, and reacting to the market adoption, therefore altering the future product roadmap, especially where limited funding is a constraint.
Mastrian has more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions with companies such as Accenture and IBM. In addition to his nine years at Darkside Scientific Inc., he holds a chemical engineering degree from MIT, and is currently restoring a ’69 Lincoln Continental with the LumiLor product.

Permatex announces the release of its The Right Stuff Red Gasket Maker. The gasket maker is designed to be a high-temperature gasket maker that can return a vehicle to service in one minute.
Permatex introduces its Optimum Red RTV Gasket Maker. It is designed to provide performance temperature up to 750°F (399°C). The formula is engineered to allow for a sensor-safe, low odor and non-corrosive performance and is constructed to be resistant to oil and common shop fluids.
Hooker BlackHeart releases its exhaust system for the ’66–’70 Mopar B-Body Gen III. The system is available in either a 2.5-in. or 3-in. diameter. The system is designed for a HEMI swap vehicle.
Hooker BlackHeart introduces its ’68–’70 Dodge/Plymouth B-Body Muscle Car EFI Fuel Pump module. The fuel pump is designed as a direct replacement for the factory pick-up and sending unit.
Impact Racing launches its Genesys Race Seat for UTVs. Featuring a fiberglass monocoque construction, the Genesys racing seat is engineered to withstand tensile and compressive forces common to extreme motorsports. The race seat is constructed with integrated structural reinforcement panels in areas subjected to torsional stress to ensure strength under load. Designed to meet the needs of taller/larger drivers, the seat includes shoulder harness guides that fit a wider range of drivers and are positioned for individuals with longer torsos. The seat is four-, five- and six-point-harness and frontal head restraint-compatible.
Impact Racing introduces its MasterCraft Safety Trail Runner Restraints for use in Jeeps, 4x4s and UTVs. The restraints feature OEM-grade, 2-in. webbing with automotive-style push-button buckles. The ends are designed to be adjustable for length and can be removed for wrap-around applications. Optional sewn-in shoulder pads are available. Available in bolt-in, and snap-in end configurations. Not for competition use.
Daystar announces the release of its heavy-duty 4.5-in. and 5.5-in. jack pads. The pads are made from polyurethane and are designed for durability.
Sinister Diesel announces the launch of its Cold Side Intercooler Pipe for the ’11–’16 6.7 Powerstroke and ’17–’20 6.7 Powerstroke. The pipe is made from billet aluminum and is designed for durability. The pipe is engineered to move more air.
Radium Engineering announces its fuel plumbing kit for the Ford Barra engine. The kit is designed to be compatible with all Radium Engineering fuel rails for the Barra engines.
