The T-5 Kit makes it easy to install a late-model Borg-Warner T-5 or Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission in 1964–1973 Mustangs. Drivers can take advantage of the first-gear ratio, which increases torque and low-end performance in fifth gear. It’s an incredible boost in performance. The five-speed conversion allows for use of the existing OEM emergency brake linkage, speedometer cable, clutch linkage, flywheel, clutch, starter, throw-out arm and bushings, with no cut-outs required. The conversion kit comes complete with a spacer/adapter plate, trans crossmember bar, driveshaft slip yoke, trans mount insulator and shift lever and knob.
