On behalf of the Tire Industry Association (TIA), I would like to welcome you to Las Vegas and to this year’s Global Tire Expo—Powered by TIA! We hope you find everything you need to make your business a stronger and more dynamic enterprise.

We’re excited and pleased that last year’s Expo was such an overwhelming success. Over the past year, we have continued our work with our valuable partner—SEMA—in order to make this year’s Expo even better.

We also hope you’ll attend our world-class educational session tracks this year: TPMS at 10, Truck Tires at 10, Tires at 2 and Management at 4. These sessions will provide fresh, relevant and useful information, and they’ll be led by the top experts in their field. Plus, you’ll have the best of both worlds: You’ll be able to take advantage of these educational opportunities while still having plenty of time to be on the floor to learn about the latest technology; catch up with current vendors and customers; and meet new vendors and customers.

We have also created a new educational session track: Green @ Noon. As the name implies, it will feature leading experts who will discuss the pressing topics concerning environmental issues in the tire industry and how they can impact and benefit tire dealers.

We hope you will take some time during the Show to stop by our booth #40049 in the South Hall.

If you’re not currently a TIA member, you can learn how membership has the potential to save you thousands of dollars on products and services you use every day, such as HM Care Advantage health insurance, business insurance from Federated Insurance, sales training from ContactPoint, package shipping and more. You’ll also get discounts on our best-in-class training programs, as well as on our special events, such as the 2012 OTR Conference. Discover what thousands of TIA members already know—a membership in TIA can actually pay for itself.

Finally, whether you are an exhibitor or attendee, your support of the Expo and TIA helps keep our industry strong. Again, on behalf of everyone at TIA, thank you, and we hope you have a successful and enjoyable time!

Sincerely,

Roy Littlefield
Executive Vice President
