Exhibitors Offer Buyers 105 Ways to Boost Profit
The SEMA Show is the premier destination for buyers in the specialty-equipment industry looking to find new products and services for their customers. In 2009, 25,086 buyers went to Las Vegas specifically to bring the newest restyling and car care offerings from the Show floor into their own retail shops. Exhibitors in the Restyling & Car Care section registered 105 products in the New Products Showcase, and buyers scanned those entries more than 4,874 times. For attendees, such as Phil Sollecito of Internet retailer Auto Amenity Inc. in Bothell, Washington, the showcase is a must-see area at the SEMA Show.
“I’m seeing many products that I’d never considered before, things like roof racks. You have to have a lot of information available for people to consider before they purchase on the Internet, so I need good pictures and good information right up front,” said Sollecito. “The New Product Section is overwhelming, but it’s great.”
