With the Japanese Classic Car Show (JCCS) just around the corner, the SEMA Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) is looking forward to joining vehicle builders, restorers, manufacturers and industry professionals at Marina Green Park in Long Beach, California, on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Recognized as the premier gathering for kyusha enthusiasts and fans of classic Japanese automobiles, JCCS celebrates the vehicles, craftsmanship and culture that continue to inspire generations of enthusiasts worldwide. As part of its ongoing commitment to support the restoration industry, ARMO will be on-site with a booth to connect with attendees and share valuable industry resources.
Booth Vehicle Spotlight: Bob Russell's '73 Datsun 240Z
Each year, ARMO selects a builder to showcase a vehicle in its booth at JCCS. This year, ARMO selected Bob Russell and his award-winning, beautifully restored '73 Datsun 240Z.
Russel is the Datsun's original owner and purchased it new following his return to the US from his 1972 Navy deployment to Vietnam. The vehicle's history includes:
- 1973-1990: Served as Russel's daily driver.
- 2018-2019: Went through a ground-up, bare-metal home garage restoration.
- 2021: First Place Stock Class Winner, ZCON
- 2022: First in Class, Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance
- 2025: First Place, Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance
