By SEMA News Editors

SEMA FLN Council and Network spotlight Dane Schwaebe

The SEMA Future Leaders Network (FLN) has named Dane Schwaebe, owner at Retention Rockstar, as the network's newest spotlight member. Retention Rockstar helps automotive e-commerce brands turn first-time buyers into loyal customers through data-driven email marketing.

Get to know Schwaebe in his interview with SEMA News below.

SEMA News: What is the best advice you have ever received?

Dane Schwaebe: Success is relative. Comparison is the thief of joy. These two pieces of advice allow me to focus on my own personal and professional goals, without getting distracted.

SN: What keeps you in the industry?

DS: The love of the car.

SN: Where can you be found on a Saturday?

DS: Turning wrenches in my garage or creating content at car events.

SN: How do you prepare for an important meeting?

DS: I re-review a client's intake form and website and have my service offerings loaded and ready.

SN: If you could go to lunch with one industry leader, living or dead, who would it be?

DS: Lee Iacocca. The man had his finger right on the pulse for both the first and second generation Mustang, and then turned around Chrysler.
