Kentucky Passes Bill Supporting Internal Combustion Engines

Kentucky Engines

By the SEMA Washington, D.C., office

The Kentucky legislature passed SEMA-supported legislation prohibiting the state from adopting California's motor-vehicle emissions standards, which bans the sale of new gas- and diesel-powered vehicles by 2035. The bill now awaits approval or veto from Governor Andy Beshear.

SEMA believes Kentuckians, not the government, should decide what vehicles are best for them and their families.
