Hooker Blackheart announces the release of its Gen-III Hemi Swap Parts for ’87–’96 and ’97–’04 Dodge Dakota. The lineup includes engine swap mounts, transmission crossmembers, transmission adapter brackets, Tri-Y stainless headers and K-member filler plates. The engine swap mounts are designed to work with a modular transmission crossmember to move the engine slightly forward to allow intake manifold and Hellcat supercharger clearance. Mounts include two engine mounting brackets, attaching hardware and instructions. The transmission crossmember is a modular design that is constructed to allow the use of several different transmissions. The headers are made from 304 stainless steel and are manufactured to provide clearance to the brake booster, steering shaft, starter motor (both left- and right-side-mounted starters), and provide clearance for several automatic and manual transmission options.
PerTronix has released its MAGX2 BLACK Ceramic Boot Spark Plug Wires. The boot is constructed from two layers of silicone and rated up to 600° F while the ceramic spark plug boot acts as the primary protection against direct heat withstanding up to 2,000° F. It is available for Universal and GM LS Applications. The boot features a carbon impregnated fiberglass center primary path and spiral-wound stainless-steel alloy secondary path that are engineered for reliability and redundancy. Kits include distributor boots and terminal for both male and female style distributor caps.
4 Wheel Parts
4 Wheel Parts announces its line of 4WP Factory Xtreme R/T tires for Jeep and truck owners. The tires feature a robust tread design and a 3-ply sidewall intended to give the vehicle a rugged look while the firm side lugs protect from any sharp objects. Open shoulder grooves and mud ejectors are engineered to launch dirt, mud, sand, gravel and snow while providing maximum traction. The tires are available in a series of 33-in., 35-in. and 37-in. sizes.
Design Engineering Inc. announces the release of its Stand-Off Kit for installing heat barriers. The kit is designed to be a safe solution for installing heat barriers, custom thermal shields and more. Each Stand-Off is made from stainless steel that is constructed to handle high temperatures and be long-lasting. Six Stand-Offs, plus washers and mounting hardware are included in the kit.
Holley has released its VVT, SRV and Chrysler 46RE transmission control harness for use with its Terminator X EFI. The VVT and SRV harnesses are for ’09+ Gen-III Hemi engines, and the Chrysler 46RE transmission control harness is for ’96–’03 Dodge Ram, Dakota, or Durango V8 trucks. The VVT and SRT applications are designed to allow control of VVT and SRV respectively. The transmission control harness is constructed to allow for control of 3-4 shift, Lockup Torque Converter and the electronically controlled governor pressure circuit within the transmission.

Mac’s Tie Downs introduces its Flat-Back Bracket. The Bracket is designed to create a permanent anchor point and is meant for flat, metal surfaces like a chassis frame arms or crossmembers. Brackets are sold individually or as a pair.
Mishimoto has launched its ’18+ Kia Stinger GT Intercooler Kit. The kit is designed to deliver max power gains of 8 rear-wheel hp and 8 rear-wheel lb.-ft of torque on stock tune. The kit is engineered to increase intercooler core volume by 94% and increase external fin surface area 74%. A methanol injection bung is incorporated on the cold-side intercooler pipe and 3-in. intercooler piping is constructed for increased flow. The kit should be compatible with stock recirculation valves and fits with most aftermarket intake kits. Performance intercooler, piping, cast aluminum merge manifold, and couplers are included.
