Reid Lunde Named 2019 SEMA Launch Pad Winner

Reid LundeReid Lunde of Kaizen Speed (holding check) took home the SEMA Launch Pad grand prize, which is valued at $10,000.

The annual SEMA Launch Pad—Powered by YEN offered innovators between the ages of 18–39 a platform to pitch their business ideas to a panel of iconic industry judges Monday, November 4, in the Westgate Theater.

The ultimate prize package, valued at $10,000, included tools for brand exposure, access to business resources, mentoring and more.

For 2019, Reid Lunde of Kaizen Speed took home the grand prize. Finalists also included Riley Koidahl, The Paddock; TJ Hammerle, Trac-Top LLC; Christopher Owens, Last Drop Wrench; and Wesley Poole, Forged Authority.

The judges were: Vaughn Gittin Jr., president RTR Vehicles/world champion drifter; Sean Holman, Motor Trend Group and co-creator and co-host of “The Truck Show” podcast; Dan Kahn, president and CEO, Kahn Media Inc.; Wade Kawasaki, CEO, Legendary Companies; and Melanie White, president, Hellwig Products.
