Legislation (H.B. 31) has been introduced that would ease the process for registering a “street rod” in Delaware.

Legislation (H.B. 31) has been introduced that would ease the process for registering a “street rod” in Delaware. If enacted, the bill would change the definition of a “street rod” from a pre-’70s vehicle to one 25 years or older. The legislation also removes the requirement that a street rod’s tires be covered by a fender.

H.B. 31 is currently awaiting consideration in the House Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee.
