Monday RevealChevy’s eCOPO Concept breaks new ground with its unique motor and first 800-volt battery pack, enabling efficient power transfer and faster recharging.

Media were given a sneak peek at some of the most significant vehicles debuting this week during the SEMA Show Vehicle Reveal, which took place Monday, October 29.

Attendees heard details from vehicle builders about their one-of-a-kind creations in advance of the Show opening.

“Journalists are eager to share the news and trends from the SEMA Show each year,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of events and business development. “The announcements and activities at the Monday Vehicle Reveal give reporters exclusive content to share with their readers and viewers.”

Among the vehicles that were featured, Chevy debuted its 50th anniversary-themed ’19 COPO Camaro. Only 69 of the cars will be built, and customers can register for a chance to purchase them through Chevy’s website.

Chevy also introduced the COPO’s electric counterpart, the eCOPO Camaro Concept. The vehicle is entirely powered by an electric motor that provides the equivalent of more than 700 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. Testing is ongoing, but Chevrolet estimates quarter-mile times in the nine-second range.
