A bill to establish a State Trail Authority within the West Virginia Development Office has been passed by the Senate and sent to the House Rules Committee.

A bill to establish a State Trail Authority within the West Virginia Development Office has been passed by the Senate and sent to the House Rules Committee. There is currently no office to specifically manage public trails in the state. The new office would help manage, oversee and promote all public trails in West Virginia.
