Janelle Grigsby, West Coast regional PR manager of Nissan North America, accepted awards for Alternative Powertrain Vehicle of the Year, the Nissan Leaf, and Compact SUV of the Year, the Nissan Rogue. Sponsored by the Texas Automotive Media Association, the AutoJudge Awards for automobiles, SUVs, and pickups celebrated their 12th anniversary at the 2017 SEMA show.

In a Rogue Trip Challenge, Kristin and Jasmine Cosme drove the Nissan Rogue from Nashville to New York City earlier this year, capturing an award of $5,000 for Cancer Research. The Nissan Leaf is the top-selling electric vehicle of the world. The 2017 model boasted a range of 107 miles on a single electric charge. The new model, coming out in early 2018, will improve that figure to more than 150 miles on a single charge.
