Video—Jason Duhon Preps His ’68 Cadillac Coupe DeVille for SEMA Battle of the Builders

The 2016 SEMA Show was a beacon to top vehicle builders, bringing together the rarest collection of one-of-a-kind creations for one week only. For many of these builders, the SEMA Battle of the Builders competition is their chance to prove that they are among the elite. Hundreds enter; only one can win.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at Jason Duhon and his ’68 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that he and his team built for the 2016 SEMA Battle of the Builders competition. This one-of-a-kind build has a complete disc brake conversion on four wheels, AirMaxx air system is Reikken powered, has a 472 Cadillac Drivetrain, Lexani wheels and more.

Throughout the 2016 SEMA Show week, an esteemed panel of judges narrowed the field, and then the builders of the top 10 contenders voted among themselves to decide the ultimate winner. The competition culminated Friday night at the SEMA Ignited event, where consumers joined in the action and watched as the winner was named during the filming of a nationwide broadcast special, SEMA Battle of the Builders, on the Velocity Network.

This year, Cam Miller of HS Customs in Logan, Utah, and his ’69 Chevy Camaro was named the winner of the third annual Battle of the Builders.

The TV special premieres at 10:00 p.m. (EST/PST), February 6, on the Velocity Network.
