The Hedman Performance Group unveiled the PCHRODS Camaro at the 2016 SEMA Show. Commissioned by Jose Moreno, the owner of Intro Wheels, this one-of-a-kind ’69 Camaro was built to combine modern luxury with Pro-Touring performance.

The Intro Wheels Camaro gets its power from a Chevrolet Performance LS3 crate engine, which has been upgraded with a Chevrolet Performance ASA camshaft, a Hamburger’s Performance spacer, Holley Performance 95mm throttle body and EFI system, while a set of Ringbrothers billet aluminum valve covers and a Billet Specialties Tru Trac accessory drive add a bit of flair under the hood. The whole engine package breathes through a set Hedman Hedders’ new 304 stainless-steel mid-length headers that bolt up to a custom MagnaFlow stainless-steel exhaust system, creating the Camaro’s exhaust note.

To get the power to the ground, a Centerforce DYAD twin-disc clutch feeds power through a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed transmission and then through an Inland Empire Driveline aluminum driveshaft and Currie 9-in. rearend with 3.90 gears. Finally, a set of custom Intro three-piece forged wheels that measure 18x10 in the front and 18x12 out back were shod in 305/30R18 and 335/30R18 tires.

Keeping the Intro Wheels Camaro planted when thrown into a corner at high speed is the job of the modern Detroit Speed suspension. The replacement hydro-formed front clip features spindles from the C6 Corvette, and is connected to the Detroit Speed Quadra-link rear suspension with a set of subframe connectors for added structural support, all aided by the JRI/DSE coilovers, which provide the driver with precise damping control. Bringing the F-Body to a halt is the job of the custom Baer Brakes/PCHRODS 6P six-piston calipers with 14-in. rotors.

The Camaro’s metalwork is finished in an MW Charcoal Metallic paint and accented by black rally stripes. Further stylistic accents around the car include JW Speaker LED headlights and driving lights with billet aluminum headlight rings from Ringbrothers, Marquez Design taillights and fog-light mounts, Ringbrothers door handles, hood hinges, and door strikers and a custom aluminum front spoiler. To add another custom touch to the car, all of the trim pieces were finished in a durable Cerakote.

Inside, the Camaro features leather upholstery and a modern custom carbon-fiber dashboard with Autometer LCD Competition Dash. Finishing off the interior are a set of Marquez Design door panels paired with a Marquez design one-piece headliner and package tray, while a Restomod Air climate-control system keeps the occupants comfortable at any speed. The Intro Wheels Camaro also features a custom DB Drive audio system.
