The West Virginia Legislature passed a House Concurrent Resolution (H.C.R. 14) officially designating July 10, 2016, as Collector Car Appreciation Day in the state. SEMA announced this date to mark the seventh commemoration in what has become an annual event to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. In the previous six years, thousands of enthusiasts in the United States and Canada have gathered at car cruises, parades and other events to celebrate our nation’s automotive heritage. By taking part in these events around the country, these automotive enthusiasts and related businesses have ensured that their passion was honored and recognized.
