The SEMA Garage has a fleet of popular test vehicles for member use. Products can be sent to the SEMA Garage, where lab technicians will install and then test the product in an emissions lab on behalf of the member.

Although the SEMA Garage is located in Southern California, the facility includes a number of tools and resources that can help manufacturers throughout the country. In fact, around 40% of current SEMA Garage users are based outside of California. Below is a list of the most significant benefits the SEMA Garage offers auto-parts manufacturers, regardless of where they are based:
  • Tech Transfer: Confidential CAD files from OEMs, such as GM, Ford, Chrysler and Scion are available and can be sent to SEMA manufacturing members anywhere.
  • 3D Scanner: Manufacturers can ship parts to the SEMA Garage and have them scanned to create digital files.
  • 3D Printing: Manufacturers can send digital files to the SEMA Garage and have them printed on a state-of-the-art Stratasys 450MC 3D printer.
  • Emissions Lab: The SEMA Garage has a fleet of popular test vehicles for member use. Products can be sent to the SEMA Garage, where lab technicians will install and then test the product in an emissions lab on behalf of the member.
