SEMA members and guests at the Performance Warehouse Association (PWA) Conference Kick-Off event will be able to get up close and have their photos taken with the “Darth Car,” a fullsize, fully operational version of the Star Wars-themed Hot Wheels car based on a C5 Corvette.

The vehicle, which has been road-tested at speeds up to an 80-mph cruise, has just been confirmed for the August 30 event taking place at the SEMA Garage in Diamond Bar, California. All SEMA members are invited to attend, where they will be able to have their photo taken with the vehicle in the newly renovated SEMA Garage. Featuring a fully loaded photo studio with an infinity wall large enough to fit a vehicle, the SEMA Garage also includes a brand-new emissions lab with cutting-edge equipment, new FARO 3D scanner and Stratasys 450 3D printer, state-of-the-art training center and more.

The SEMA Garage emissions lab will be unveiled for the first time during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the PWA Conference Kick-Off on Sunday, August 30. All SEMA members are invited to attend, where they will be able to tour the facility, see all the equipment in action, and have their photos taken with the Darth Car.
