While discovering new products and trends are the primary reasons most people attend trade shows, networking and face-to-face communication is just as important. At an event like the SEMA Show, Showgoers are constantly looking for opportunities to make new connections and build relationships with other industry professionals. The SEMA Industry Awards Banquet has long been known as an event that does just that. Recognized as a night filled with food, entertainment, and networking, the banquet is a place to interact with new and existing business partners.

As the highest attended special event at the SEMA Show, the SEMA banquet allows attendees to unwind, enjoy live entertainment, acknowledge outstanding achievements in the industry and continue to build significant business relationships. Taking place Thursday, November 6, tickets to the banquet are available to all Showgoers online.

Eric Saltrick, who will attend the banquet for the eighth time, says, “While the entertainment, awards and food are always excellent, the real value is elbow rubbing and the social networking that goes on before, during and after the event.”

From catching up with old-friends to meeting new business partners, the SEMA banquet has been a “must-attend” event for Saltrick year after year.

Eric Coomer of RxSpeed.com agrees, “The banquet is not just about the excellent food and entertainment, but also the endless networking possibilities. Establishing core business relationships at the banquet will last for years. If I would recommend any of the hundreds of events going on during Show week, it would be the banquet.”

The event includes entertainment from well-known comedian Sinbad and music from soul-singer Curtis Harding. Awards for SEMA Person of the Year, Warehouse Distributor of the Year, and Manufacturer’s Rep Agency of the Year will be announced and presented, and the 2014 SEMA Hall of Fame inductees will also be honored.

Each exhibiting company receives at least one complimentary event ticket that includes dinner, drinks and dessert. Tickets are administered based upon booth size. Upon registering, information was provided to exhibitors as to how to claim tickets. Those who may not have claimed any tickets can log onto their accounts at www.SEMAShow.com to add tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased by exhibitors or any Showgoer by using the “Tickets Only” button.
