All shuttle and taxi cab pick-ups/drop-offs for the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) will be at one of the new transportation hubs—Gold Pavilion and Silver 4.

The 2014 SEMA Show will feature two new transportation hubs that will help Showgoers easily and efficiently navigate the annual trade show.

The new areas will be strategically located to provide space for faster taxi lines and be in close proximity to new Show features.

These areas will be at:

  • Gold Pavilion: Located near the LVCC North Hall, just across Paradise Road.
  • Silver 4: Located near South Hall, in the parking lot to the east of the Renaissance Hotel parking structure.

While thousands of Showgoers get to and from the SEMA Show via taxi cabs, shuttle buses offer another great option. Free shuttle service is available from many of the hotels booked through the official SEMA Show housing provider. Shuttle stops will be located in Silver 4 and in front of the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (formerly LVH), adjacent to the LVCC.

“As the landscape of the SEMA Show changes, modifications are made to better accommodate the industry’s needs and to improve the overall Show experience,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events. “These transportation hubs make it easier for attendees to get in and out of the SEMA Show, so that they can spend more time connecting with partners and focusing on doing business.”

Veteran SEMA Showgoers will recall that Silver Road—the street off of Paradise Road that runs from one end of the LVCC to the other—is the street where the shuttle buses and taxi cabs would pick up and drop off passengers. For 2014, Silver Road will be closed to vehicular traffic on both ends, allowing space for additional displays and highlights.

“The 2014 SEMA Show is shaping up to include lots of new and exciting features,” said MacGillivray. “We’ll be announcing specifics in the near future, but we’re excited about what this year’s SEMA Show has is store.”

The transportation hubs will be surrounded by additional displays and features. SEMA Show organizers are also working with transportation officials to set up the area so that shuttle buses and taxi cabs flow in and out of the area more quickly and easily.
