Legislation (H.B. 2362) in the Washington State House of Representatives to require the issuance of only a single license plate for vehicles that do not include a front mounting bracket died when the legislature adjourned for the year. The bill had received no committee consideration prior to adjournment. The bill would have required that owners issued one plate pay all applicable fees as if the vehicle had been issued two plates.
