Ford Reveals One-of-a-Kind Customs

 Ford, 2013 SEMA Show
Snakebit, a custom ’56 Ford F-100 with styling cues that salute the great Shelby Mustangs, was unveiled Tuesday, November 5, by KISS bassist Gene Simmons (right) and his wife, actress Shannon Tweed, as part of Ford Motor Company’s SEMA Show display.

At its opening-day 2013 SEMA Show press conference, Ford unveiled modified versions of its most popular models, including the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Mustang, F-150, Super Duty and a special F-100.

Special guest Gene Simmons of KISS and his wife, actress Shannon Tweed, revealed a Shelby-Cobra-inspired ’56 F-100 truck to be featured in a charity auction, with proceeds benefitting a new children’s hospital near Tweed’s hometown in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Ford and its aftermarket modifiers also highlighted what’s possible when the European styling of Transit Connect Wagon and Transit Connect cargo van is mixed with the creativity of the industry’s top customizers. The modifications go beyond eye-catching custom paint or new fascia. The builders incorporated a functionality that captures the spirit of Transit Connect, including creating a mobile boutique, working bike shop and a portable two-person gaming lounge.
