Movers & Shakers: Mizutani Named President of Toyo's American Operations; Perfect Equipment Receives GM Supplier Award

Annual Saleen Car Show This Saturday
The Annual Saleen Car Show and Open House takes place this Saturday, September 14, at the Saleen headquarters, 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., in Corona, California. The pros at Saleen will show off the latest Saleen vehicles—the Saleen 351 Mustang and the Saleen – George Follmer Edition. The event will also include factory tours of the Saleen headquarters, entertainment for kids, poster signing and autograph session with Steve Saleen.

Tomoshige Mizutani Named President of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc.
Tomoshige “Tomo” Mizutani will become president of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. (TTHA), effective October 1. Mizutani has led the Nitto brand in the United States since 1992 and has served as president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. (NTU), since July 1, 2005. He will continue to serve as a corporate officer for Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. (TTR) of Japan. Current president, Noriyuki Dan, will continue to serve as the CFO of TTHA. Keiko Brockel, current COO of NTU, will be appointed president, in addition to her role as president of Nitto Tire Canada Inc.

Perfect Equipment Receives Supplier Award From General Motors
Perfect Equipment recently announced that the company received the General Motors 2013 Supplier Quality Excellence Award, marking the second consecutive year that General Motors has honored Perfect Equipment with the award. The Supplier Quality Excellence Award is given to specific supplier locations, and only the top-performing suppliers are eligible to receive the award. Suppliers who receive the award have met or exceeded a stringent set of quality performance criteria and have achieved the cross-functional support of the entire GM organization.
