The deadline to submit booth space applications for the 2013 SEMA Show is tomorrow—April 5. Meeting the deadline ensures that exhibitors are able to participate in the Priority Booth Selection Process. The Priority Booth Selection Process is the first opportunity exhibitors have to select their booth locations for the upcoming SEMA Show.

SEMA Show organizers are reporting that early indicators show booth space reservations for the 2013 Show are outpacing 2012 statistics, both in the number of exhibiting companies and total square footage. This announcement follows the increased exhibitor activity reported in March, which also bested the 2012 numbers in booth applications for each of the Show's 12 sections. The 2013 SEMA Show takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuesday–Friday, November 5–8, in Las Vegas.

With the interest and activity surrounding the 2013 SEMA Show swelling, the annual event is continuing its reputation as the industry's most valuable showcase to highlight the ingenuity and craftsmanship of automotive specialty-equipment companies.

"We're committed to finding new ways to create programs that attract qualified buyers, the decision makers that our exhibitors need to connect with," stated Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events. "With this increased commitment exhibitors are demonstrating earlier in the year, it's apparent the SEMA Show provides unmatched brand-building visibility and sales exposure in one venue."

The 2012 SEMA Show drew more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and last year's Ideas Alive: Featuring the New Products Showcase featured nearly 2,000 newly introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.

The 12 categories of the SEMA Show are: Collision Repair & Refinish; Mobile Electronics & Technology; Wheels & Accessories; Global Tire Expo—Powered by TIA; Powersports & Utility Vehicles; Tools & Equipment; Restoration Marketplace; Trucks, SUVs, Off-Road; Racing & Performance; Business Services; Hot Rod Alley; Restyling & Car Care Accessories.
