Learn how your company can improve your product development process and get products to market faster and cheaper through the SEMA Product Development Conference.

Registration is now open for the SEMA Product Development Conference: Race to Innovate. This manufacturer-only event will be held at the SEMA Headquarters (Diamond Bar, California), Thursday, February 7.

It’s no secret that technology is rapidly changing the way products are conceived and delivered to market. From online open innovation models to product creation software, surface scanning tools to additive manufacturing equipment, businesses are changing the way they think about product development.

The SEMA Education Institute (SEI) has assembled several subject-matter experts who will cover topics ranging from product planning (current data, research and trends) as well as product development (3-D desktop software, surface scanning tools, 3-D printers, etc.).

Representatives from equipment and technology suppliers will be on hand to demo equipment and answer questions. This unique event will also give SEMA manufacturers an opportunity to use the latest tools immediately for a special measuring session.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to measure a Toyota HiLux, a vehicle imported to the United States through a joint program of the SEMA International Department and the U.S. Department of Commerce. The HiLux is unique in that it is popular worldwide but not sold in the United States. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for members to create export-ready product.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how your company can improve your product development process and get products to market faster and cheaper. Mark your calendars and plan to attend the SEMA Product Development Conference: Race to Innovate, Thursday, February 7.

Cost to participate is $47 for SEMA members ($97 for non-members). Registration includes education conference, measuring session and lunch. Register today.
