After its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show, the WD-40/SEMA Cares Foose ’53 Ford F-100 will be auctioned off to benefit the Childhelp and Victory Junction children’s charities.
The final touches are being made on the WD-40/SEMA Cares Foose ’53 Ford F-100 as Chip Foose and his team finish giving it the vintage shop truck look it needs to wow attendees at this year’s SEMA Show and properly pay tribute to the 60th anniversary of WD-40 Multi-Use Product. You can check out photos of the build in progress inside the WD-40 Fan Club.

All proceeds of the vehicle’s sale will benefit Childhelp and Victory Junction children’s charities. Leading aftermarket companies that stepped up to donate parts, equipment and services to the project include: Street Scene Equipment, Barrett-Jackson, LMC Truck, L&R Engine, Egge, MHT Wheels, Pirelli Tires, BASF Paint, American Auto Wire, Painless Performance, Quiet Ride, K&N Filters, McGard and others.

After debuting at the SEMA Show, the special pickup will appear at select West Coast automotive events and then be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, January 13–20, 2013, in Scottsdale, Arizona. WD-40 Company’s last three vehicles have raised a combined $400,000 for those charities.
