With the next-generation Porsche Panamera planned for the ’16 model year, the automaker is attempting to freshen the current version with a facelift for the ’14 model. These photos, shot and delivered by the pro shooters at Brenda Priddy & Co., reveal a cleverly camouflaged Panamera prototype with headlamps hidden behind body-colored panels and adhesive headlamp coverings.
In addition to hiding the actual lamps and design of the headlights, Priddy reports that parts of the Panamera's front fascia were also cleverly disguised.
Based on the size and shape of the camouflage, the team reported that it would not be surprised if the freshened Panamera resembles—headlamp and fascia wise—the future signature-look of the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept recently introduced in Paris. The team also expects the taillights to be freshened in the mid-cycle update.
