After just five months, the SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) has reached a milestone with its 100th supplier member joining the group. The program, which launched its beta phase in April, now includes 100 manufacturer members, 40 data receivers and exports from more than 25 brands. The list of all 100 supplier members is available at www.SemaDataCoop.org.

"Signups are running well ahead of projected goals, and coding of the fully functional production system is running on schedule for a demonstration debut at the SEMA Show," said Jim Graven, SDC director of membership. For the first time ever, industry professionals will be able to view free demonstrations of the SDC system in Booth #20579 at the 2012 SEMA Show. Visitors will also be able to meet with technical experts and learn how product data management can increase business. Suppliers and receivers may also schedule individual one-on-one consultations by signing up online.

After the SEMA Show, the SDC will transition out of the beta phase and focus on the full system launch scheduled for January 2013.

Jon Wyly, SDC CEO, commented, "Industry support has been outstanding. We look forward to expanding our capabilities when we go live in January. Our goal of educating and training suppliers to manage their own product data is being very well received."

The SEMA Data Co-op is an industry-owned and -operated project designed to bring full product data management capabilities to participating suppliers at the lowest possible cost. Features include a secure, industry-standards-based centralized data repository, extensive on-boarding tools, expert live training and technical assistance and unlimited standard or fully customized data exports.
