The winner of the first-ever SEMA Gen-3 Innovator Award will be recognized during the SEMA Show Awards Banquet, Thursday evening, November 1.

Nominations for SEMA's newest award—the SEMA Gen-3 Innovator Award—are due by Wednesday, October 10. The award recognizes a young individual from the industry who is making breakthroughs in areas of new products, implementing new approaches to business or is setting new trends.

The Association is seeking someone who exhibits the same pioneering spirit as the original first-generation industry founders. If you know someone who you think deserves a moment in the spotlight (self nominations are also encouraged), submit your nomination for the SEMA Gen-3 Innovator Award.

The winning candidate may be launching a new trend, the inventor of an original product or the first to devise and implement stellar ideas that better suit the changing marketplace of the new millennium. Whatever the case, the Gen-3 Innovator will be young—under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2012.

SEMA will honor the SEMA Gen-3 Innovator Award winner during the 2012 SEMA Show Awards Banquet, which takes place Thursday, November 1. Finalists for the award will be invited, along with a guest, to attend and participate in the banquet.

More information about the award and nominations are available by contacting Arlene Wood at arlenew@sema.org or 909-978-6689.
