Third Mopar "Top Eliminator" of 2012 to be Named

Neil Wedeking of Marble Rock, Iowa, was named the second 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner for his ’70 Plymouth AAR ’Cuda during the 28th Annual Midwest Mopars in the Park car show in Farmington, Minnesota, June 2–3.
   

The third of four 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winners will be chosen during the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, July 6–8. The winner will be recognized during the awards ceremony, which wraps up the three-day event.

The long-running Mopar “Top Eliminator” program shines a light on passionate and dedicated Mopar enthusiasts who display unmatched skill in modifying or preserving a classic or modern-day Mopar vehicle. As in previous years, 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winners will be honored by having their vehicles showcased in the Mopar display area at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, October 30–November 2, 2012.

Tom Ledoux of Pearland, Texas, was chosen as the first 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner for his modified ’09 Dodge Challenger SRT8 during the Seventh Annual Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine, California. Neil Wedeking of Marble Rock, Iowa, was named the second 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner for his ’70 Plymouth AAR ’Cuda during the 28th Annual Midwest Mopars in the Park car show in Farmington, Minnesota. The final Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner of 2012 will be selected via an online competition, with details released at a later date. Bob Villiger of Mountain Home Arkansas, with his ’69 Dodge Coronet 440, was named the Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner at the 2011 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals.

Mopar “Top Eliminator” candidates are judged on a number of criteria, including Mopar content, overall appearance and additional benchmarks. A panel of Mopar representatives will choose each winner. Mopar “Top Eliminator” submission forms will be available at the event or for download on the event website. Forms should be turned in at the Mopar display at the event.

The Mopar display center will be on-hand for all three days of the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, with Mopar parts and show vehicles on display, along with fun activities and contests for attendees. The Mopar Gear rig will also be present with an array of Mopar apparel and merchandise for purchase.
