Join More Than 100 SEMA Members Measuring the Toyota HiLux

SEMA Measuring Sessions, Toyota Hilux, automotive industry research
The Toyota HiLux Measuring Sessions are made possible by a Department of Commerce Market Development Cooperator Program award from the U.S. government, which is working with SEMA to identify and create export opportunities for SEMA members.

Registration has topped 100 manufacturers who will measure a ’12 4x4 double cab Toyota HiLux—the first vehicle in a new SEMA international measuring initiative to provide SEMA-member manufacturers access to vehicles popular overseas but not sold in the United States. There is still time to register for one of the three sessions (pre-registration is required):

  • July 31 – SEMA Headquarters in Diamond Bar, California
  • August 14 – Link Engineering Facility in Dearborn, Michigan
  • August 22 – Clemson University in Greenville, South Carolina

Register now for the ’12 Toyota HiLux Measuring Sessions.

The vehicle is currently on its way to the United States, courtesy in part to a U.S. Department of Commerce Market Development Cooperator Program award, which is working in partnership with SEMA to identify and create export opportunities for SEMA members. Members needing additional fitment checks will be able to sign up for the vehicle to be delivered to their shop. The HiLux is the first in a series of vehicles SEMA will be importing to provide measuring opportunities.
