When delivering the photos of this rough Opel prototype, the spy shooting team at Brenda Priddy & Co. were intrigued by the rumors regarding the Opel Cabrio. The group is hearing word that this Cabrio might undergo a few tweaks, including a new grille and such, and become Buick’s first convertible since the Reatta.
According to the team, the new Astra Cabrio—minus the camouflage—will debut at the Paris Motor Show this coming fall. It will have a traditional cloth top and be configured with seating for four. And if the sporty Cabrio crosses over to the Buick brand, it will likely arrive in the United States in time for the ’14 model year.
