Speakers Announced for Aftermarket eForum; Registration Discount Available

The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has announced the lineup of speakers and presenters for the 2012 Aftermarket eForum. The event helps address the business technology challenges that exist in the vehicle aftermarket through workshops and breakout sessions designed to help businesses understand what's possible and how it benefits their operations.

With business technology and e-commerce the main themes of most of the Aftermarket eForum's presentations, the agenda addresses business and marketing challenges as well, covering solutions based on what works and what to expect in the near-future.

Here are some examples of the program's lineup, which takes place July 17-18, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois.
  • Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, Consumer Electronics Association and author of “The Comeback: How Innovation will Restore the American Dream,” will speak about how consumer electronics and the connected car will impact the future of our industry.
  • Danielle Russell, automotive director, Google, will share many of the trends and startling facts about mobile marketing that you must understand in this age of the digital aftermarket.
  • Ray Reulbach, vice president, customer solutions – automotive, UPS, will challenge you to think of new ways to rev-up your supply chain and find untapped efficiencies in your logistics.
  • Joseph LaFeir, CIO, Polk, will speak about a challenge every enterprise faces – updating your legacy computer systems to lower costs and take advantage of the Cloud and other technologies.
