Mike Spagnola of Street Scene Equipment (Left), posed here with Doug Evans of Source Interlink Media, was named the 2010 SEMA Person of the Year at last year's SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet.

Interest in the SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet, an annual celebration of the specialty-equipment industry that also provides the backdrop for the presentation of SEMA's industry awards, has reached an all-time high. As a result, a  waiting list—a first for the event—has been established for those who are interested in attending the banquet but have not yet secured tickets.

Access the waiting list for the 2011 SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet.

Note: If you have already ordered your tickets, you should have received a confirmation. Bring the confirmation to the SEMA Association Center to receive your tickets.

Earlier this year, Sinbad was named the featured entertainment for the banquet due to his crowd-appeal and his outstanding performance at the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet in 2004. With the ability to tailor his show to the industry, Sinbad gets the crowd involved and readily improvises to hilarious effect. It promises to be a great show to cap the night.

The SEMA awards that are typically presented during the banquet at the SEMA Show include the SEMA Person of the Year, SEMA WD of the Year and SEMA Manufacturers’ Rep Agency of the Year. The 2011 SEMA Hall of Fame inductees—Art Chrisman, Chrisman’s Auto Rod Specialist; Chris Economaki, National Speed Sports News; Gray Baskerville, Hot Rod magazine; and John Towle, Performance Warehouse Association (PWA)—will be recognized and honored during the event.

The 2011 SEMA Show is set for Tuesday–Friday, November 1–4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visit www.SEMAShow.com for registration and for the latest Show information, including celebrity appearances, educational seminars, exhibitor lists and floorplans and more.
