Custom F-150 Brings Top Bucks for Kids

  This custom F-150 Super Crew raised $30,100 at auction to benefit Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Customized with product donations by SEMA-member companies, this 2009 Ford F-150 Super Crew 4X4 was available through eBay auction to benefit childrens charities Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp. The vehicle was sold to Ron Schmucker of San Ramon, California, for $30,100.

Organized by the SEMA Cares Committee, the truck was upfitted inside and out with mods from such companies as Leer, Street Scene Equipment, DuPont Hot Hues, Amp Research, Roadwire, Audiovox, Kicker, Scosche, Wise Industries, Pro Comp, Bushwacker and Magnaflow.

Making its first appearance at the 2008 SEMA Show, the SEMA Cares F-150 was also showcased at the inaugural SEMA Cares 2009 Show ‘N Shine Car Show and returned for display at the 2009 SEMA Show.

Established by the SEMA Board of Directors in 2007, the SEMA Cares Committee aims to bring the voices and resources of the SEMA community together to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
