Brenda Priddy's spy photographers managed to snag these photos of Dodge's 2011 Charger. And Priddy says judging from the tire, wheel and brake packages, she's pretty certain this is the hot-rod SRT8 variant. Referred to internally as "LD," the 2011 Charger will be riding on a moderately updated version of the "LX" chassis. Underhood it will pack either Dodge's new Pentastar 3.6L V6, a 5.7L Hemi V8 or the burly 6.4L Hemi V8 in the SRT8.
A source that has seen a styling prototype has also told Priddy that the interior has an impressive retro feel. Those itching to buy the SRT model are in luck, as Priddy says all trim levels will be available to purchase at launch. At the moment, Chrysler plans to begin production in October 2010 at its Brampton, Ontario, plant.
