SPY SHOTS: BMW's CROSSOVER "ACTIVITY" SEDAN

Looking like a special-edition 7 Series fastback, this mule is BMW's new Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS), according to spy photographer Brenda Priddy. Priddy says the PAS will have a coupe-like roofline and frameless side windows, along with four large, fully adjustable seats and even small tables. It will ride on wheels between 18 and 21 inches, depending on options and packages, and will most likely offer an optional all-wheel drive.

The longer-than-X6 PAS will also be offered with a variety of six-cylinder powerplants, as well as a hybrid option. It is expected to debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
