Priddy says the convertible will arrive shortly after the launch of the MINI Clubman early next year.
"Sporting a 'multifunctional' fabric top, this car is going to be the ultimate summer city car for 2008," she says. "With a C-pillar at least as wide as on the current model, visibility to the rear won’t likely be improved, although we expect the new top to stow a bit better than on the current model."
