The SEMA Internship Program at the SEMA Show provides students interested in careers in the automotive market with a valuable learning experience. At the same time, principals of SEMA-member companies and Show exhibitors with an excellent opportunity observe qualified and productive potential employees.
Participating interns have all been screened and represent some of the country's brightest, most promising students. In addition to preparing for careers in the automotive industry, all SEMA interns must meet a minimum class standing and submit a written essay outlining why they should be chosen to participate in the program.
SEMA Show exhibitors are invited to host an intern during the 2007 SEMA Show. Depending on the length of time a student will be attending the show and the number of show exhibitors participating in the program, most student interns will be given the opportunity to spend quality time in at least two exhibitors’ booths.
