PRO members and businesses in the restylers/accessory market recently gathered over Zoom for the council's first member-at-large volunteer meeting of the year.

Below are key takeaways from the event. To watch a recording of the meeting, click here and enter the password *rju&n9B

  • PRO member businesses who wish to make a larger impact in the restyling market can do so simply by getting involved and making their voices heard. If you have something to share about current automotive laws, taxation, dealerships, or rules about what your business can or cannot do, simply reach out to PRO Council Director (Denise Waddingham at Deniselw@sema.org) to get the necessary guidance and assistance.
  • Automotive enthusiasts and individuals can now join SEMA as an Individual Member. Learn more here about how you can defend your automotive rights when they are under attack.
  • There are various task forces in which members can volunteer for PRO. There are part-time and full-time volunteer positions available, and slots available for those who only have a few minutes a month. Volunteering is a great way to help shape the industry, identify challenges and opportunities, and help develop solutions to strengthen PRO member businesses. Task force committees include communications, membership, PRO Cup Challenge and more. Reach out to Denise Waddingham at Deniselw@sema.org to get involved today.
  • The PRO Sales Training Manual and SEMA Accessory Sales Professional (SASP) Exam is available to help restylers, trimmers and accessory retailers build a more successful dealer-direct sales strategy. Learn more at https://www.sema.org/pro-sales-training-manual.
  • Applications for the 2022 SEMA PRO Cup Challenge will open in the Summer. Keep an eye out for more information and how to apply.
  • Fill out a PRO member spotlight form here to highlight how you or your company are contributing to the automotive restyling industry. Selected candidates are eligible to be featured on PRO's social media, SEMA eNews and PRO-member updates.
