SEMA Showgoers can use their SEMA Show credentials to gain entry into SEMA Ignited—the official SEMA Show after-party taking place Friday, November 4, from 3:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
At 1.16 million sq. ft. of exhibit space, the SEMA Show draws thousands of exhibitors, buyers, media and other attendees to a four-day car, truck and powersports extravaganza. The grounds of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)—both within the exhibit halls and in the surrounding spaces—offer a profusion of sensory delights. In the listings below, we’ve detailed just a few of the highlights.
Buyers are finding that extending their stay throughout the week of the SEMA Show provides them with many valuable benefits.
The 2015 SEMA Show, to be held November 3–6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), is on track to draw more than 2,400 exhibitors and more than 60,000 buyers. Those buyers will be in search of the newest automotive specialty-equipment products to sell to consumers during the coming year, and additional thousands of media representatives will be looking for innovative products to publicize. Last year, nearly 90% of buyers who attended the SEMA Show said that they planned to purchase products from exhibitors. With a little preparation, even first-time exhibitors can take full advantage of those sales opportunities at what has become the largest annual gathering of small businesses in the United States.
The 2013 SEMA Show was by all accounts a record breaker. More people attended, there were more international visitors and more booth space was taken than ever before in SEMA’s history. I’m happy to report that the 2014 Show is on track to exceed all of those numbers. This year has been a great year for business, and we are all hoping for an even better 2015—and the 2014 SEMA Show is the right place to kick it all off.
This year’s Show promises to have more fabulous new project cars, custom builds and incredible vehicle debuts than ever before. But what really excites me is the number of first-time exhibitors we will see this year, and the even bigger news will be all of the creative and innovative new products that will be on display at the Show.
More Than a Trade Show, It’s an Automotive Paradise
The SEMA Show is a business event, as everyone in the industry knows. It’s the venue where buyers and sellers come together to provide products to installers and stock the shelves of retail outlets throughout the nation and the world. But it’s also so much more than that. It’s one of the world’s greatest custom car shows. It’s a four-day university of automotive knowledge. It’s a carnival, complete with wild rides and sideshows. There’s more going on at the SEMA Show than at many of the planet’s amusement parks, and there’s only so much time in each day.
