The automotive restoration market is expected to continue to grow as the average age of vehicles
on the road continues to increase, classic cars gain in popularity and
Baby Boomers have more discretionary money to purchase these vehicles.
It is estimated there are approximately 300,000 restoration projects in
various stages of completion across the United States at any given time.
To accommodate demand for exhibit space in the Racing & Performance, Hot Rod Alley, and Restoration Marketplace sections of the 2010 SEMA Show, organizers are opening the large meeting rooms adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center's Central Hall.

The SEMA Show is the premier destination for buyers in the
specialty-equipment industry looking to find new products and services
for their customers. In 2009, 25,086 buyers went to Las Vegas
specifically to bring the newest restyling and car care offerings from
the SEMA Show floor into their own retail shops. Exhibitors in the
Restyling & Car Care section registered 105 products in the New
Products Showcase, and buyers scanned those entries more than 4,874
times.
